More Bad News???!!! Greater Nashville Association of Realtors Says Yes.

The numbers are in for February 2009 - Middle Tennessee/Greater Nashville Area's Real Estate Market -

Check out the data HERE!

Although these numbers show improvements from January 2009, still the sales are down 33% from this time last year...

Median prices were also down from $168K to $160K on single family residences and from $154K to $151K on condos.

Sorry, everybody, I wish I had better news.  Really I do.

I have to say, though, with the nicer weather on its way and the Economic Stimulus Package now in place, I am feeling positive about the spring/summer/early fall season!

Wow - knew it was coming and thanks for posting. We've been selling our homes staged with Home Managers despite the drops and they are getting pretty good offers but I sure see a lot of stagnant inventory. Hope it picks up soon - all those vacant listings are doing a lot of damage.

Ugh! I've got a rental property in Oakland. I know that's not Nashville, but I'm sure it's declined in value by a significant amount. Speaking of which, if you can run a comp for me on that house I'd be forever indebted. Twitter me - @StageToSell.

The good news is those numbers are still better than a lot of areas are seeing. So, keep your chin up and like you said, spring is around the corner and with a positive attitude you can maybe change those numbers all by yourself.
